Restart

Yeah we decided to go with 4 star and lower teams, so the only one you couldn't have would be Ohio State. I think all the others are 4 star and below.

It looks like almost everyone has weighed in on this, still a few guys who haven't but it may just be the best thing to completely restart

Hmmm modified list would have to be.....


1. Michigan State (I believe they are 4* if memory serves correctly)
2. Cal
3. Kansas State
4. Maryland
5. Cincinnati

Though if we do the draft I will alter the order based off of current conferences.

Yeah Michigan State is 4 star. You can see the draft order a few posts back. But I would imagine that most if not all of your choices will be there when its your turn

Awesome, Michigan St would be interesting because they lose starting QB and 2 WRs after year 1.

Looks like we may be able to put those restart talks on hold. Me and DJ were able to just play. I experienced no problems on my end.

Wow that's awesome that you guys got it working. I wonder if it was the DMZ? Did you guys do anything else different?

Haha well we aren't out of the woods yet but I would rather continue this one if it is working properly but I was getting pretty excited about a new one as well.

I mean, I'm open to restarting as well...But I'd like to join as a 1* coordinator with coaching carousel to see who can win a NC a head coach first. LOL.

The only thing I did different was saving the dynasty. I normally don't save it because I heard you weren't supposed to as it could mess up the od but I got tired of having to load it up every time and decided it couldn't get any worse so I just saved it this morning. But I don't know if that would help anything

Season is just tainted alrdy for a lot of people who got cheap losses so I was rdy to restart haha

If it's working and we can play I don't see any reason in starting over. For at least half of us we have spent 3 seasons building up our teams. Only 4 guys got a loss last week, two in user games and two in CPU games. There are only two users that are undefeated and only 1 that has two losses so right now everybody is in it still.

ya, but it sucks when that loss happens to be against a conference opponent (auburn) who is #1...that win that i should have had was huge...now if they win out in conference i get screwed...so in my eyes it is tainted

especially with how it happened...i was down 31-7 to auburn and came back to win 45-38 in overtime...so that hurts a lot...i know nothing u can do about it, but still upsetting

Yeah it sucks without a doubt, and maybe worse for you because you were the only one that actually had a result changed so I understand that. But I don't believe that we should just scrape everything and completely start over if this current dynasty is functioning and we can play. What will it solve if we start over? We will just lose everything we have done the past 2+ seasons and all that history and what not.

One of the objectives of the od is to get everybody's opinion and do what's best for the dynasty. So if a majority of the people say that they just want to kill the dynasty and believe that is the best course for the od even if it is working properly then I guess we can do that. It's just my opinion and belief that with a working dynasty it isn't in the best interest of everybody and everything we have done to start over.

Has anybody heard from Turner? He hasn't accepted his invite back into the OD, nor has he said anything about the situation. Just wondering what's up.
