Run commit and pass committ are schemes you can run like an audible. Run commit will send you whole team in one direction (up the middle, left or right). It is completely unrealistic and ruins the game. You can do it by pushing the L2 button prior to the snap. Pass commit works the same i believe. Not sure what that does though.

Ya that's pretty much it. When you hold down L2 before the snap it will pull up four options the run commits do what he said and are banned completely there is one option that is pass commit which isn't as strong and broken as run commit and is fine to use as long as it isn't every play.

Pass commit is semi-realistic...in passing situations in real life, teams play the pass and know its coming. In the game, corners and LBs are less likely to bite on play action...

It completely ruins the game. I hate it. I hope they eliminate it from 2011

I believe in playing smart and tough Defense. It can be acheived by running different schemes with slants and mix up zones and mand and combos. Love DEFENSE!!!

They shouldn't remove it, they should fix it...its been in the game as long as I can remember, but for some reason the run commit is severely broken this year. The ideas are in real life...if its a run situation; LBs, safeties, and corners inch in, if its a passing situation they play deeper and are less likely to run toward the line. In real life, there are prices to pay for committing and if caught in a wrong commitment, a TD is usually the price; in the game, the price is minimal compared to a real game.

You can acheive all of that by doing it maually with audibles and schemes

I know, I'm not saying you can't...but it's a part of real football, therefore should be in the game. The only thing I use is pass commit, mainly because the pump fake and play action is too effective in the game and only in passing situations.

I am against it totally and think it should be gone. I have banned it in all my OD and only play in OD that do the same.

Everyone has there own opinion...run commit is too effective this year and that's the reason I don't use it, there are situations in the game and real life that a person would play the run or the pass.

I use pass commit when I think playaction is coming and I send a blitz. Just as in real life, you coach your players to ignore the running back on a playaction pass. Run commit is just ridiculous. Your whole team gets a speed boost it seems like. Its a great idea, as it should be much harder to run the ball in short yardage situations than it is, just too effective. 4th and inches is automatic in the game, but much harder in real life.

Ya I have found pass commit to only really help on play action which is why it should only be used in passing situations. That is why the rule on it is to use it sparingly. As long is it's not being used every down or in run situations then it is fine.

Does anyone else think that the holding settings are too high. I get about 8-10 holding calls a game. No joke. Anyone else get this. Or does my O-Line suck that bad? Let me know.

Kinda makes sense...I know agaist Ariz this week it felt like one drive had 8 holding calls..lol! That drive was insane! It started at the 18, I had a good 15-20yd pass completed one the first play, next play did a litte run that has holding...next play 10yd pass with like 15yd run after that was called back for holding, eventually got that 1st then a few plays later same kinda thing happened again...I think I finally got a 35yd TD pass, but if I remember correctly it was like 16 or 17 plays!

I guess...but I really don't care about TOP, just as long as I win or at least have a shot at winning in the 4th

I don't know how you guys get all those penalties. I don't think many others do because we are all near the bottom in penalties in the country lol. I think Michigan only has one penalty all year, I know I only have a few, so I don't know why your guys are getting so many.
