Coach Dan Hawkins was let go this morning and Tim Ryan will take the helm of the Colorado Football program that has been mediocore at best under Hawkins. Ryan brings an explosive wide open offense to Boulder and a stout defense that will have the Buffs striving for the Big 12 title year in and year out. Ryan has vowed to bring back the tradition and honor of a once glorified program. In doing so, they will open the seaon wearing their 1930 Silver and yellow uniforms. A staple that will be seen in a few games this year. "The return to glory starts now" Ryan said in a Press conference last night when he met the team. "Colorado Pride" wristbands will be worn by all team members to insipre a unified front. Ryan's aggressive recruiting and strict rules will weed out the element that is not here to win. "My job is to win here and winning can be done here. We need to change the attitude around here before we can change the scoreboards." Look for Colorado to make a huge splash this season as they take a run at the big 12 North.
