Oxford, Miss.

"That was the best defensive preformance I have ever been apart of", Coach Kendrick exclaimed after his teams 15-0 defeat of UGA. "As a team we really needed this game. This was a game we circled as a statement game for this year, if we could win this game then we have a real chance to make some noise". The defensive side of the ball really looked impressive the last two games and they continue to get better but everything wasn't perfect Saturday afternoon.

"I still think we are thinking instead of reacting", Coach Kendrick stated about the Rebels offense. "We may have to go back and evaluate what we are trying to do and simplify it. Maybe we have to emphasis more power running in our gameplay? Whatever it is, we need to get our redzone issues fixed or we will really have trouble later in the season".
