Texas A&M Wins Again, Eleven Ws in a Row
College Station, Texas- The Aggies played their final conference home game against the Oklahoma State Cowboys and played an excellent game for the fourth straight week. Tannehill had been looking a little sluggish as of late so Coach Bryant let him rest up for the final three quarters after the Aggies opened up a comfortable first half lead. Tannehill was an exceptional 5-5 for 76 yards and had gained over 60 yards on the ground when hi days was done. Russell the tank played well again and with his performance against the Pokes his went over 1,000 yards on the season. The defense put together yet another outstanding performance holding the Cowboys to under 200 yards despite giving up an 80+ yard pass late in the game. If it weren't for that pass Oklahoma State would have been under 100 total yards on the game. The Aggies offense didn't miss a beat with Tannehill on the sideline as they finished with over 400 total yards of offense and 40 points. The Aggies now have ten wins in back-to-back seasons since they won ten games four years in a row from 1991-1994. The Aggies are also two wins away from tying the mark for wins in a season (12) that was set in 1992. The Aggies play their final home game of the season next week against rival Arkansas and look to close out a perfect season at home.
