Aggies Take Home the Big 12 Crown
Dallas, Texas-In what was anything but pretty the Aggies won their first Big 12 Title in over a decade. The Aggies were really off their game in the first half, turning the ball over 3 time, more than any other full game all year. The turnovers allowed Kansas State to take a 20-13 halftime lead. The Aggies were lucky for the game to even be that close. A&M knew that if they kept playing like they were it would be hard for them to win, but in the second half the Aggies turned it on, and out played the WIldcats. Kansas State put on a great showing, but it proved to be too little to upset the nation's top ranked team; The Aggies pulled away a little bit for a 37-27 victory. With the win A&M will go to it's second BCS Bowl game and first BCS National TItle. Texas A&M has only one official National Championship in their history, and that came 71 years ago. A&M will look to represent the Big 12 better than Texas last year who fell to SEC foe Florida in the National Championship. The banged up Aggies will be at full strength when they play the Bulldogs and will be expecting nothing less than a victory.
