Early in the game, the Tiger defense simply dominated the GT flexbone and Clemson built a 21 - 7 lead. It really should have been 21 - 0 but a Clemson fumble on a punt return deep in tiger territory set GT up with their only score of the half.

The second half was a different story. While the tigers continued to move the ball, drives continued to stall around midfield. GT managed to hit a couple of big plays off their passing game that they were forced to employ due to a lack effectiveness in the option game. Depite that, the tigers lead 28 - 21 and were in GT's red zone when a vicious hit on RB Jamie Harper broke his collar bone and caused a fumble that GT recovered. 3 plays later GT scored to tie the game at 28 with just over 2 minutes left to play.

Clemson managed to regroup and Parker calmly lead his team down the field and capped off the winning drive with a 1 yard TD plunge with 7 seconds left to give the Tigers the final margin.

The win came at a cost as Harper's broken collar bone will end his season and career at Clemson.

Tough win, but a win is a win regardless of the cost...

Damn nice win, but tough loss on Harper. I know how you feel.
