The Gophers added 4 recruits in week 10 all of them who enjoyed there campus visits in week 9 against Iowa.

4 star Athlete DJ Ewing from Wharton Texas

The 6'0" 219 lb Ewing will likely be the starting B Back from day one.

4 star CB Sean Jolly from Anoka Minnesota

The 5'11" 183 lb Jolly will likely play immediately and with the Gophers losing there top 3 safeties might even be asked to play there.

3 star QB Damien Franklin from Laurel Virginia

The 6'2" 208 lb Franklin will likely red shirt in his first season

3 star MLB Tyler Fletcher from Aurora Illinois

The 5'11" 224 lb Fletcher will likely play DE for the Gophers.

The Gophers added another recruit in week 12 who committed after his campus visit week 11 vs Wisconsin.

3 star Athlete Justin Coleman from Danville Illinois

The 6'1" 206 lb Coleman will likely play A Back for the Gophers but has the ability to play WR or CB

Before the Big Ten Championship game 3 star MLB Brandon Smith from Rockford Illinois announced he would be attending Minnesota next year. Smith visited 2 weeks ago when the Gophers faced the Illini.

The 6'1" 211 lb Smith possesses solid speed and coverage skills but may redshirt in his first year on campus.

Minnesota also signed 2 3 star WR's and 1 3 star Athlete with hopes of turning them into wing backs but they were cut as well as in season signing 3 star Athlete Justin Coleman

3 star CB Dan Baker from Collinsville Illinois and 2 star FS Michael Jackson from West Fargo North Dakota committed to the Gophers before the begining of the regular season.

The 5'11" Baker appears to be a good cover corner who should have a solid career for the Gophers and may see immediate playing time and if not

The 6'2" 197 lb Jackson may be converted to LB and may not have a big impact in his collegiate career.

3 star FS Roger Thomas from Shoreview, Minnesota committed to the Gophers in week 4

The 5'11' 179 lb Thomas will likely be converted to LB.

Minnesota had 4 recruits commit in week 8 after visiting the campus in week 7 when they played Michigan.
