Boston College Finishes First Ever Perfect Regular Season
Miami, Florida-- Boston College had already secured the division championship and was only looking to stay unbeaten and Miami was in need of a win and help from Virginia to win their division. Miami jumped out to an early lead but Boston College would answer with 35 straight points, including an furious final two and a half minutes, to take the air out of the Orange Bowl. The last couple of minutes of the half would have two BC defensive touchdowns and a successful hail mary.
The game was decided after the 21 point outburst by the Eagles in the final two minutes and the rest of the game was a mere formality. Boston College will now prepare for its first ACC Championship game against the Virginia Tech Hokies. The Hokies played BC tougher than almost everybody else BC faced and HB David Wilson has been a thorn in the BC side. The Eagles are going to have to bring their A game with a national championship berth on the line.
