Connection Issues

Well it seems me and turner are unable to connect. We can't even get to kickoff at this point. This issue seems to be getting worse with each passing week. I'm not sure what the deal is and I've searched everywhere for a solution but haven't had any luck. At some point it may come down to rebooting and rehosting the file.

When turner and I try to play again today I'm going to use a wired connection instead of wireless. I'm not sure if this will help but we will see

A possible solution that this guys swears by and he seems to know what he is talking about is to make the PS3 a DMZ or DMZ Host. He says it will open all ports and you will have no connection issues, so we will see.

Ok this DMZ is looking like a very possible fix. It takes a few minutes and there are a few steps involved but I just followed the steps and it wasn't to complicated. So I'm crossing my fingers that this works. The only thing I can't figure out is if only one user needs to do this or if both need to

I have been searching most of the day for solutions to our problem with user game connections. One other possible solution is to have a different user upload a back up file of the dynasty. I have read that if two users have an issue then they just play in the back up dynasty and whoever wins can play the CPU in the real dynasty. All the rosters and everything else would be identical so that could be a possibility. I'm just trying to come up with some kind of option so we don't have to kill this thing.

How would that last one work? Would some one just download the file and it would be good?

Yeah basically. You would just need to host it each week. And if two users have difficulty playing they can try it on the backup od

Ok I'm in the od all by myself but its up to where we are. SO would I just need to invite guys as needed?

Trev I'm actually thinking now that we can have whoever needs them download them on a need as be basis. So if somebody can't connect this week then then can download it invite their opponent to that od and play the game then delete the od afterwards.

Ok so should I delete my od or keep it or what?

Yeah just delete it. I don't want to many of the same file floating around just because it could cause issues with the main file.

Well now apparently we have real issues. Some people are not able to get into the OD at all. How many people are having this problem?

I have no problems getting in and out of the online dynasty. I am on a wireless connection too so not sure what the problem for everyone else is but I have no problems with it. Just an update from me.

Well it looks like I'm going to have to reboot this thing. What it means is that we will have to start this week over for those that have played. For those that haven't then it will be now big deal

Ok what is going to happen is I'm going to transfer the commish to someone that can get in. Bud I know you can get in so I'm going to transfer the commish to you. Then I will start up a new od from the current week and reinvite everyone

ok no problem. What do you want me to do with the dynasty that I have now?

Just hold on to it for a minute. If this works you will need to delete it but if it doesn't you can send it back to me but I'll let you know once I try to fix this

Ok here's the situation. Apparently we can at least get into a new file but since the limit is 3 stars people can't choose their teams. I can change the limit to a higher star but the effects won't change until next week
