Week One Is Up

Week one is now up. Lets get this new season rolling. Advance will be tuesday at 10 pm central at the latest. As always if you need extra time post on here to let me know whats up.

For the new guys that don't know you post a game recap after your game in the week one thread. I guess I will make an example one to show you. It can be as simple or complex as you want. I wish I had a game so that I could really show you but I guess I can next week.

In week one we have a few good games to kick off the season.

California (Elixor1987) vs Georgia (cko)
-This will be a great way to kick off the season. Both guys are looking to start the season off on the right foot. While it will not have an impact on the conference races this game will be big for confidence and have a big factor come bowl time

#17 Clemson (marxshut) vs USF (ryby)
-USF is coming off a down year, but what better way to turn around a program with a big upset. Clemson on the other hand was in a BCS bowl one year ago and looks to continue it's upward path with a big out of conference win.

Mississippi State vs #20 Boise State

North Carolina vs #5 Oregon State

#9 Iowa vs Toledo

Iowa State vs Northern Illinois

UCLA vs #22 Cincinnati

And the game of the week...

#8 Wisconsin vs #1 Florida

The marquee matchup of the week features the top ranked user team and the top ranked team in the country. Both teams want to prove they are National Champion material but for one team the journey will most likely end in week one. The Badgers offense is loaded with talent, lead by Senior quarterback Scott Tolzien. Last year Tolzien set a school record for yards passing with nearly 3000. With Tolzien at the helm this team looks to repeat as Big 10 and Rose Bowl champs and perhaps more. Of course his top target is Heisman favorite Nick Toon. Toon is an explosive Junior of set a school record for TD receptions in a season as a sophomore. Despite all that talent the offense would be nothing without one of the top line in the country. Led by a trio of seniors the offensive line puts the team on its shoulders. This offensive will have to overcome one of the best and most athletic defenses in the country. Florida defense is one of the best in the nation year in and year out and this season will be no different. Along with a tough defense Florida boasts one of the premier secondaries in the country. The secondary is led by super safety SS Ahmad Black. Black will look to lock down Toon anytime Toon crosses his path. This early season matchup will have a huge impact on the national title race. One team will have an early edge on a path to the championship while the other will have to settle for a shot at a conference title.

It was going to be tonight around 9 pm cst but the Cal-Georgia game is going to push us back until tomorrow so tomorrow around 9 pm cst. And RJ did you see my post about you being able to play your game again?

Im playin my restart as soon as i get home from school today.

Cool. We just have RJ, bulldog, and Nittaby left to play. Rj said his will be done in a little while and nittany had a disconnect so I'm not sure if he wants to use his restart or not yet. I have not heard from bulldog but hopefully he gets his game in
