After a devastating loss at the mercy of Penn State last week, the Wisconsin Badgers had a little bit of an easier opponent this time around. On a gorgeous but cold day at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin , the Badgers got on the board fast and never stopped. On the second play of the game, OLB Kevin Rouse stepped in front of a wobbling pass and took it 31 yards to the house to put the Badgers up early 7-0.
After a Hoosier punt, Wisconsin quarterback Scott Tolzien found WR Nick Toon on a screen ans Toon took it to the house to make the score 14-0. Indiana scored their only touchdown of the day on their ensuing drive from 2 yards out, on a dive play by running back Trea Burgess. Wisconsin would score from inside the red zone on their next two drives making the score 28-7 going into halftime.
After the big first half, Wisconsin wouldnt step down any levels in terms of physicality. They kept their drives long but quick and scored again from inside the zone. This time 5 yards out on a corner route by Nick Toon, his second on the day. Indiana would pick up their final points in the game in the third on a 35 yards FG to make the score 35-10 in favor of the Badgers. The final points of thye day were pput up by Wisconsin running back, who is filling in for the injured John Clay,. He plunged in from 5 yards out making it 42-10. The Hoosiers couldnt contain the defensive juggernaut, that is Wisconsin.
