OSU vs. Iowa (F'IN POS PS3)

I need a extra day on my game man. My PS3 froze up the first two times I tried to play. On the third time my PS3 started up then shut down by itself now i can't get it to turn back on and I have this flashing light when I do.

I have a interview tomorrow so I can get a new one till saturday afternoon. Can we wait till Saturday night to advance? Also will King have to re-invite me to the dynasty?

Dang that sucks. Ya I'll wait and advance it Saturday night. No I won't need to send you a new invite as long as you use the same psn. Just whenever you sign up for playstation network on your new ps3 go to the option that says use existing PSN or something like that.

That really sucks dude...just curious how do you have your PS3? You're the 3rd person that has had the same problem since I've been playing NCAA 10 and dynasties...

That does suck. I have heard of this too. You need to get an external fan so your PS3 does not overheat. They are like $20 at Gamestop

NO!!!! Never put external fans on the PS3 or 360...the fans in the consoles work fine. Actually, I've heard several people say they can cause overheating. From what I've figured from the other 2 people that it happened to, they had bad air circulation around the console.

Glad I could help, I thought about getting one as soon as I got my 360 a few years ago...good thing I didn't, the 360's "intercooler", the external fan for it, was one of the many things that were blamed for the RROD. Microsoft said the intercooler's fans spun in the wrong direction and countered the internal fans as opposed to increasing air flow as they are supposed to do...

ya fans dont work at all my friend got the ps3 equivalent of the RRoD and he got an external fan and it made his system worse.

I like these new PS3 slims. It doesn't put off near the heat my old one did.

My PS3 was 3 1/2 years hold so i got plenty of play out of it.

Mine is almost 3 yrs and hopefully last 3 more...but knowing my luck, it will bite the dust right after the extended warranty expires

mines 1 year and about 4 months and its gotten about 2 years worth of playing time on it thats just what my summer is like haha. especially when ncaa comes out.
