Guys, I've just caught up with the talk about recruiting levels and I see alot of talk about doing the recruitng on varsity. I'm curious why this is? I think varsity makes it a little to easy to recruit. If you are having problems recruiting on AA I can post the link to the thread on OS that tells you exactly how to recruit to that level.

My reasoning behind varsity being to easy is the results below:

VARSITY RECRUITING:
OKLAHOMA STATE 2010
Record 10-3(Holiday bowl) Prestige ****
19 signings, #23 class
7 **** players
11 *** players
1 ** players

OKLAHOMA STATE 2011
Record 13-1(Conference championship game loss, bowl win) Prestige *****
23 signings, 1# class
3 ***** players
13 **** players
6 *** players
1 * player

OKLAHOMA STATE 2012
RECORD 12-2(CCG win, nation championship game loss) PRESTIGE ******
15 signings, 4# class
5 ***** players
9 **** players
1 *** player

Now different dynasty:

AA recruiting
OKLAHOMA STATE 2010
10-3 Record (Cotton Bowl win) prestige ****
17 signings #29 class
3 **** players
11 *** players
2 ** players

OKLAHOMA STATE 2011
11-3 Record (Lost twice to Nebraska, once in conference and CCG) prestige *****
15 signings #21 class
7 **** players
7 *** players
1 ** Player

OKLAHOMA STATE 2012 (current year)
7-0 Record
5 signings so far prestige *****
1 *****
4 ****

I think the up swing in recruiting on Varsity is way to steep on a break out year. In real life it take consistent winning to get to that point in recruiting. Now granted, you should be rewarded for a great cindrella season but when Kansas made ther BCS bowl game run you didn't see their recruiting in the top 10-15 after that one season.

I have always recruited on All-American but I remember everybody complained that it was too hard so we used Varsity. I would be down to recruit on All-American I think on AA the computer actually signs guys that can keep them competitive down the road

I was one that complained about the AA level but once you learn how to recruit. It is much better and more realistic.
