Michigan State tops 50 points for the 2nd time this season, this time on the talented Winconsin Badgers. Michigan State RB L.Caper had a career day as he would rush for 273yds and 3 TDs on 33 attempts, in addition to a 54yd recieving TD to start Michigan State's scoring in the first quarter. Another solid day from QB K.Cousins as he would finish with 263yds through the air with only 1 INT. The game was thought to be over at halftime with Michigan State pitching a shutout and up by 27 points, but on Winsconsin's first drive of the 2nd half they would march the entire field on the back of the powerful J.Clay and he would cap the drive with the Badger's only offensive TD of the day. Following possession for Michigan State would put life back into the Badgers as they would recover a fumble and return it for a TD to cut Michigan State's lead to 13. That is as close as they would come though as Michigan State would commit to the run for majority of the remaing game with the only pass coming on an audible in response to an all out blitz from the Badgers that would result in another TD for the Spartans. After allowing the Badgers to back into the game, the Michigan State defense would respond by holding the Badgers out of the endzone the rest of the day. If the season were to end today, Michigan State's MVP would be the entire defense as they've allowed a mere 40 points through the first 4 weeks of the season.

When asked about the importance of RB L.Caper to Michigan State's 4-0 start, Coach B gave a quick response; "We wouldn't be 4-0 without Caper, he is the one of the key factors in our offense. Without him, we wouldn't have much of a passing attack."

Players of the Game:
Michigan State: RB L.Caper 327 all-purpose yards, 4 TDs
Wisconsin: (Offical) FS A.Henry 11 tkls, 1 INT
(Real) RB J.Clay 21att, 58yds, 1 TD -> without Clay, Wisconsin had no offense
