The Minnesota Golden Gophers improve to 2-0 with a 30-14 over the Ole Miss Rebels. The Gophers would score on their opening drive when QB Marques Gray would run one in from 14 yards out to go up 7-0. The Gophers added a FG in the 2nd Q to go up 10-0 then with Ole Miss driving looking to make it a one possession game their RB fumbled and Minnesota Linebacker Mike Rallis would scoop it up and take it 85 yards for the score in what was probably the turning point. The Gophers would add a FG right at the end on the half to take a 20-0 half time lead. The Gophers added another FG in the 3rd Q but then the Rebels would respond on a long 53 yard TD pass to J.Logan to get on the board to cut the defecit to 23-7, Logan would add another TD Rec in the 4th Q from 3 yards out to cut the lead to 23-14 but on the ensuing drive the Gophers would pretty much put this one away as Gray took a option keeper 58 yards to paydirt for his 2nd TD of the game to put the Gophers up 30-14 and thats how this one would end.
