Defensive Coach Woody Stubbs has been relieved of his duties!!
Effective immediately Coach Rowe will be stepping in to personally take over the Defense till the end of the season as Stubbs was just not able to get his guys to perform up to their capabilities and it showed in this loss to FSU as the Defense and special teams got torched!
Coach Rowe said that todays loss was a big letdown for a program that was on the verge of something great this season but he stressed that all is not lost and the goal now going forward is to win the ACC and get into a BCS bowl game and that starts next week!
Graham had a great game on offence hilighted by a 103 yard KO return but really on a day when you suffer this big a loss on the national stage bright spots are few and far between.
There are some big games coming up and NC State will have to let this loss go, regroup and get back to winning. When asked to give a recap the game Coach Rowe said "if you wanna know what happened out there today go check the game report...I hae nothing to add!" That was the end of the press conference!
