UCLA comes in to thee 2012 season on a high note. They are ranked #15 and are currently on a 13 game win streak. They are also the defending Rose bowl/ Pac-12 champions. They lost three very talented wide outs but that really doesn't matter because the Heisman trophy winner is coming back. Franklin set single season records in rushing yards and rushing TD's. He is hoping to get the career records at UCLA in the same categories. Can coach Petersen and UCLA jump up to the national title level?
Offense
Quarterback: The starter from last year Richard Brehaut is returning and will be the starter week one. However backup Kevin Prince improved this offseason and could see the field and depending on how it goes he could become the starter. To add to the controversy Freshmen RS Brett Hundley could become the starter as well. Only time will solve this debate. But whoever gets the nod will be the best QB and the best guy for the job.
Running back: Johnathan Franklin won about every award possible last year and comes into his Senior year ready to take the Bruins on his back. He will get the ball alot.
Wide Receivers: Randall Carroll and Ricky Marvray will be the go to guys. They lack size but have great speed. They can also make plays in space. Also look for TE Joseph Fauria to be a key factor in the pass game.
O-line: The offenive line is average in skill. They lack skill but at least they are big. LT Brett Downey is the best player on the line. The line is about the same as last years line.
