This season we are going to be starting a coach/team of the year poll. We have done this in past NCAAs but I wasn't able to get it together in time to start last season. This poll will be determine who all the users think was the coach/team of the year. Th results for this will also determine the order for selecting new teams, and the winner of this poll will go on the Dynasty History page and we will add the new winner each year. I am posting this now so we can all think about it, but you won't submit your votes to me until after the last user game has been played. The rules and criteria are posted as follows.
-List who the coaches/team of the year, in your opinion, from 1-9 (don't include yourself) and send it to me in a PM.
-Each place that a user receives will get a certain amount of points, A 9th place vote will get 1 point, 8th will get 2 points, 7th 3 points, 6th 4 points, 5th 5 points, 4th 6 points, 3rd 7 points, 2nd 8 points, 1st 10 points. So after i receive everybody's votes I will total up the points and post all the places everybody finished in.
-Try to be honest and fair, don't just vote a guy ninth because he beat you and you are mad and also don't vote a guy first just because he won the national championship. Different things can weigh differently in your selection process but one thing should not determine a guys place.
-I want you to think about everything when deciding how to vote. Some of the things that you can think about are
--How well a team played (how many games/ championships they won)
--How well a team played compared to their talent. If there is a team that had a lot of bad players but won a lot of games and overachieved.
--How active was a guy on the forum. Did he post much, did he add to the fun of the forum, was he easy to schedule games with?
--How much did one player/team improve from last season to this season. If a guy was bad last year and improved a lot this year that should be taken into account.
--How good of a player is this guy. Maybe one guy you played is really good and that helps you decide
--How sim is the player. If a guy is very sim and straight maybe that helps him
***These are just some basic things, you can use all of them, none of them, you can have different things that help you deicide. It doesn't really matter I just put these on here so you can get an idea of what to think about.***
