After jumping out to an early 3-0 lead, it was all down hill from there for the cavs. Mississippi State took the ensuing drive and drove the ball the length on the field to take the 7-3 lead and they never looked back. Although the Hoos threatened to comeback many times through out the game, they could never seem to quite get over the hump. A late TD for the bulldogs sealed a comfortable 37-17 victory. Despite the final outcome the cavs had alot of successses duriing the game, one of which was the play of QB Jameel Sewell. The senior played a nice game with a balanced attack through the air and the ground, but failed to capitalize at the end of drives. The key moment of the game had to be the interception in the endzone by the bulldog D as UVA threatened to tie the game midway through the 2nd. The positives of this game were over shadowed by the final outcome, but Cavs fans have alot to look forward to in the coming weeks, including a primetime matchup with rival Wisconsin this saturday. HILL OUT.
