Gamecocks Roll in Season Opener
Columbia, SC-- USC looked to start out their 2010 season with a win but things didn't look good early as the offense struggled to get on track trailing 7-6 after the first quarter. The offense managed to get its first touchdown with less than a minute left in the first half to take a 13-7 lead. South Carolina would receive to start the second half and Culliver caught the end-over-end kick at the goal line on the left hash. He started up inside then made one quick cut left and was off to the races taking the kick all the way back. From that point on USC never looked back. Garcia and Lattimore combined to lead the offense to 10 more points before all was said and done. It was a sloppy game from both teams as there was a combined 10 holding penalties. Nest week USC will take on Syracuse in hopes of making it to 2-0.
