Purdue Humbled in Narrow Victory

Purdue came in heavy favorites and went out wondering if their defense is really that bad or if Coach Davis needs to draw up a new game plan.

The Boilermakers won 42-35 despite allowing over 300 yards passing. The Boilermakers started to come off the tracks early when they drove all the way down the field only to give up 94 yard pick six.

Despite the tough start, Purdue came back, relying heavily on HB Bolden's 224 rushing yards and WR Mostert's 3 TD receptions.

A sigh of relief in West Lafayette, but with ranked NC State, Notre Dame and the tough Big 10 schedule just around the corner, it could be a rough season ahead.
