One game at a time. "Thats been our motto", says Coach Kendrick as he walks out of Wednesday pratice. "I feel if this group takes it one game at a time then we have a chance to win any game on our schedule". Coach Kendrick will put that philosophy to the test when the Rebels face the defending national champions, Auburn. "Obviously, they've missed Cam Newton but they are still very explosive. We will have to play very displine football to win", Kendrick states. "Its important to get this sixth win and be bowl eligble. Its important for this team and the future of Rebel football to get back going to bowls consistently."

"It sure is nice to be bowl eligble again", says Senior Rebel runningback Brandon Bolden. "The chemistry in the locker room is great, we know we are not the best individual talent out there but we play better than anyone else as a team". No one will deny Bolden that as the outmanned and out-talented Rebel team went into the defending national champions home field and dominated. Don't let the 24-21 score tell you different, this was dominating performance by the Rebels. Cut out the the 3 endzone turnovers, the fumble return for a TD and a late fourth qtr score and the Rebels win 44-7.

However, all is not sunshine and roses. "I'm happy for the guys to get this win but one thing remains evident, we turn the ball over way to much!", says coach Kendrick. "We will not continue to win if we continue to do that, we will focus on that this week".

"If we can get the turnover thing fixed then look out SEC, the Rebels will be back!" exclaims Bolden.

We're watching Mr. Bolden. Lets see if your team can deliver.
