What a day it was to play some football at Wake Forest as the Demon Deacons welcomed the Wolfpack from NC State to town. Things got off to a frenzied start as both teams got out of the gate fast scoring 2 TDs each for a 14-14 score that indicated that it would be a back and forth affair all afternoon. However, that was not to be as Coach Rowe was seen on the sidelines sharing a few words that can't be repeated here with his defensive co-ordinator. The words must have worked as the Defense bore down and shut out the Wake Forest offense for the rest of the afternoon. As the Wolfpack D was manning up the Offense led by Mustafa Greene and TJ Graham decided to catch fire and reeled of 31 unanswered points as the Wolfpack cruised to victory for their second road win on the year. Gannon at QB had another solid day in the passing department throwing for over 300 yards 3 more TDs. Greene and Graham each had 3 TDs. Up next for the Wolfpack a tough game against the Perdue Boilermakers. We will see if the NC STATE defense continues to improve or whether they have another slow start. A good conference win for the Wolfpack to kick off their march for the ACC crown.
