College Station, Texas-For the third week in a row the Aggies looked like a title contending team. This week A&M went up against Oklahoma in what was the biggest conference game to that point. The Sooners won the toss and elected to receive to start the game. A few critical holding penalties killed the first Sooners drive and forced them to punt it to the Aggies. The punt was downed inside the 10 yard line. The Aggies would have to drive 90 plus yards to score on their first drive and did exactly that. Tannehill led the way for the Aggies with his arm and Russell carried them with his legs. After over ten plays the Aggies finally got the ball down into the redzone where they were determined to come away with a touchdown. The Aggies were set up with a first and goal from the eight when Russell got his number called again. He took the dive and would not be denied until he stretched over the goal line for the 7-0 Aggies lead.
