Williams-Brice Stadium
Located in Columbia, South Carolina Williams-Brice Stadium has been housing South Carolina football games since 1934, and is the 20th largest stadium in the country. The stadium, that is named after Martha Williams-Brice who donated money to fund stadium renovation, has affectionately been nickname the Cockpit by students and fans. Williams-Brice has one of the most exciting and electric atmospheres in the country and the fans have helped the team to a (Inserted later) home record. The Cockpit currently ranks (Inserted later) on the ESPN Toughest Places to Play List. Coach Petersen and his new coaching staff hope to utilize the home-field advantage and win a majority of their home games. You have to dominate at home before you can win on the road and that is exactly the goal of the 2010 South Carolina Gamecocks and it will continue to be the goal as long as the current coaching staff is in Columbia.
