South Florida vs #1 Texas
This game marks the second time this season that we have a user taking on the top team in the country. After a week one win by Wisconsin over Florida the USF Bulls will take on the Texas Longhorns this week. The Bulls have already pulled off a top 25 upset week one and look to make an even bigger splash this week. The Longhorns have won 16 straight games including a Big 12 and National Championship and they look to keep the momentum going on the road in Tampa. The Bulls are lead by a balanced team with one of the best defensive lines in the country. McClain, Pierre Paul, and Marshall will strike fear into any offensive line in the nation. The offense can hold its own as well lead by arguably the top two receivers in the Big East, Jessie Hetser and Carlton Mitchell. Hester and Mitchell were both hurt for nearly the entire season last year and look to make up for lost time. But of course USF will have to go up against one of the most talented groups in the nation. The Longhorns bring in a talented squad that is hungry to repeat as champions. Texas may not be as talented as last year but are still favored to take home the Big 12 crown. Lead by CB Aaron Williams the Horns secondary has been known to shut down opposing passing games. With McCoy gone to the NFL Garrett Gilbert is left to take over the reins. The best way he can help the Horns get back to BCS Bowl is by handing off to stud running back Tre Newton. The sophomore running back is set to have a break out year and is already on the Heisman Watch List.
