#2 Iowa vs #5 Penn State
The top of the Big Ten is very crowded with 3 teams in the top five in the country and another team sitting at #7, and then you can not count out Ohio State sitting at #11. It is certain that the Big Ten Champion for this season will be a tough and battled tested bunch and it would be very surprising to see someone outside this top 5 make a stab at the title. The key games in the league this year will be whenever the top 5 teams meet up, and that happens twice this week. One game is between Ohio State and Wisconsin, but the National Game of the Week is Penn State vs Iowa. Iowa will be tough to beat at home where it has one of the nation's longest winning streaks, but the Hawkeyes are somewhat unproven as they have not played an elite team. The Nittany Lions however have played a tough Wisconsin Badgers group and come away with a huge win in hostile Camp Randall Stadium. The winner will control their own destiny in the Big Ten but both would still have an uphill climb to the top. The Nittany Lions will still have to go to Northwestern and play Ohio State while Iowa will have trips to Wisconsin and Northwestern as well as hosting a scrappy Minnesota bunch. So while this weeks game i hug by no means does it decide who will take home the Big Ten crown as there is a lot of football to be played.
